Eckhart is part of the Eckhart Group, a family of companies working together in all disciplines relating to professional interior design and architecture. This combination of different groups within the larger organization was set up to reflect the structure that we see in our everyday practice. Based on our vision of a holistic approach to interior design projects, we focus on every aspect of the interior to allow for a full-service, turn-key project path.

In a typical project path, we work from inception and defining the brief (Eckhart Research) via design and detailing (Eckhart Studio) to execution and service (Eckhart Store & Eckhart Gallery). For our Research team, many projects are independent from clients and are more focused on generic questions and broad themes such as The New World of Work.

Our research projects combine an investigative approach (literature studies, etc.) with a more creative approach (brainstorming, concept designs, etc.) to generate spatial concepts and project ideas. As ideas diverge and converge, lines of thought are considered, evaluated, and discarded or refined until an answer has arisen.
