The Parcs portfolio by Austrian manufacturer Bene features a wide range of spatial elements dedicated to communication. Based on the analogue of the office as a city, Bene has developed Parcs together with designers PearsonLloyd as a program for facilitating interaction and communication.
The British designer duo Luke Pearson and Tom Lloyd have designed this range of pieces, which can be combined and configured to create any type of informal communication space. The central theme for the products is the realization that you do not need to be at your desk to create value for your company. The vast changes in work styles and enabling technology allow for great flexibility in where you work, based on the tasks you need to perform and the level of interaction required.
The Parcs portfolio combines a range of different elements with flexibility in the looks and feel of the different elements. Important aspects such as seating quality and acoustic buffering are all taken into account.
The Parcs portfolio is ideally suited for entrance and reception areas, breakout areas next to formal meeting and conference rooms and the "middle zone", the spine of the average office space that provides the communal functions.
Bene Parcs consists of the following base elements, which can be combined and configured into any larger structure and spatial organization:
Causeways
Idea Wall
Toguna
Wing Chair
Wing Sofa
