The Royal Appointment qualification stands for "quality and continuity of a company".

Founded in 1842 by C.H. Eckhart as a crafts workshop for designer furniture and wood paneling for houses, offices and ships, Eckhart has gained a historic appreciation as one of the most prominent companies in the branch of interior design. As such, Eckhart has received the Royal Appointment by Her Majesty the Queen of The Netherlands many times over the years. The accompanying escutcheons have been redesigned throughout the years. Both the oldest and the most recent version can be seen in our showroom in Rotterdam. Along with our interior design projects for public and private clients, we have also completed a number of prestigious assignments for the Dutch government and the Royal Household over the years, including the furniture, paneling and upholstery for the palaces Noordeinde, 't Loo and Soestdijk.
